let's talk cost // quilting rates
my price for longarm quilting includes a complete design consultation with pantograph selection review, thread color options, and an overall discussion of how you would like to see your project quilt tattooed!

preview photos are also included by text or e-mail. batting is charged separately as below.
i cannot wait to create together!
base rate
i charge 2.7 cents per square inch. if needed and based on the density of the stitching and/or complexity of the design this price may be adjusted to 3 cents per square inch. there is no additional charge for thread, needle, or set-up on the machine.

example: your quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches // 60 x 80 = 4800 x 0.027 = $129.60.

this base rate on E2E quilting is eligible for discounts --- wahoo!

minimum charge
my minimum quilting charge is $50 USD. this means that a small quilt will be rounded up to the $50 minimum.
i would suggest including multiple items for quilting on one backing // baby quilts, pillow shams, table runners, etc. if needed.

batting options
i currently offer the three batting choices as below. i'd urge you to consider the reuse/reduce/recycle method listed as "frankstein" batting. this is deeply discounted and a process that generally makes me quite happy.

both the cotton and green batting are on 93'' rolls. i will cut the least amount necessary to meet size requirements as below.

-
"frankenstein batting" - an 80/20 blend // these are high-quality remnants from projects past. i will personally ensure the batting is pieced together and completely seamless. ($0.35 per inch)

-
cotton batting - 100% pure cotton // warm, strong, cozy. ($0.42 per inch)

-
green batting - made from 100% recycled water bottles // eco-friendly, minimal shrinkage, and a personal favorite. ($0.45 per inch)
you are also more than welcome to supply your own batting.
please note, batting must be at least 4 inches wider on each side than your quilt top (same applies for backing) to accommodate the longarm loading process.

example: if your quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches //
both your batting and backing must be at least 68 inches x 88 inches.

backing
as noted above, backing will need to be at least four inches wider on each side than your quilt top. if your backing is short on intake, you will be contacted to discuss options.

i do offer pieced backings // $15 per seam or $22 per matched pattern seam.

i welcome alternative or recycled backings. examples: minky, cuddle, flannel, thrifted (& laundered) or new bedsheets, etc.
